Join us for the 4th annual Grace Women’s Retreat for a weekend set apart to explore what Scripture teaches about living unbound - free from what holds us back, free to walk in who God created us to be, and free to flourish in community.
Guest speaker, Sharla Miller, will speak from Galatians 5. In Galatians 5:1, Paul writes, “It is for freedom that Christ has set us free.” For years, verses like this stirred a longing in her—a vision of the abundant Spirit-led life that Scripture promised, but always felt just out of reach in her own life.
Then, a few years ago, in the midst of one of the hardest seasons she’s ever walked through, God began the slow journey of moving His promises from her head to her heart. In that place of struggle, He started teaching her how to actually live the truths she had thought were only possible for others. He led her into the heart of what it means to live unbound—truly free in Christ.
And one thing became unmistakably clear: this kind of freedom was never meant to be pursued alone.
We will gather on Friday evening (4/17) and on Saturday (4/18) for most of the day. This will be a Friday evening and Saturday retreat rather than an overnight stay located at a beautiful venue in Horseshoe, only a 10 minute drive from Grace. Cost is $75 per person. Space is limited so sign up quickly. A detailed schedule will be shared with participants after registration.
Our Speaker
Our speaker is Sharla Miller, wife to Scott for 35 years, mom to four adult children, two daughters-in-love, and proud LaLi to two grandsons.
Sharla has a long-standing passion for teaching and encouraging women. She served as an Associate Teaching Director in Community Bible Study for three years and as a Teaching Director for five. She has traveled to Honduras and Swaziland to minister to women through Bible study, and over her 26 years at StoneBridge she has led numerous studies as well as retreats for both StoneBridge and CBS.
For 14 years, Sharla also ran a small jewelry-making business to help fund her mission trips. One of her greatest joys during that season was meeting the women who bought her pieces, hearing their stories, and encouraging them.
Sharla and Scott now serve on the leadership team for StoneBridge's HoldFast Marriage Ministry. When she’s not teaching, you’ll likely find her on a hiking trail with her husband, family, or friends—camera in hand.
